Job Overview:
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a highly organized and strategic individual to join our team as a Fleet Dispatch Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing the assignment, sourcing, and logistics of company vehicles and equipment, ensuring timely and efficient dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading a team, fleet management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to optimizing asset utilization and minimizing rental costs.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end equipment dispatch processes, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders. Maintain and monitor utilization of owned fleet assets to maximize efficiency. Minimize third-party rental expenses through strategic planning and resource allocation. Collaborate with Field Operations to support project requirements and equipment needs. Ensure timely and accurate updates to equipment management systems and databases. Conduct regular audits of equipment status and data integrity. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs); develop new metrics to enhance team performance tracking. Provide recommendations on fleet asset lifecycle decisions, including acquisition, replacement, and divestiture of on-road and off-road equipment.Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management and equipment operations, preferably within the equipment rental industry. Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities to support long-term operational goals. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, ViewPoint, and P-Vault. Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to process improvement.Company Overview:
