You'll have...
A Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in engineering or a related field and 7 years of experience in the position offered or 7 years of experience performing quality improvement or solving problems in at least 2 of the following settings: Manufacturing Plan PVT/Quality; Supplier Technical Assistance; Product Development Quality Engineering; or Product Development Quality Methods. Also requires 7 years of experience performing structured, disciplined problem-solving, utilizing both 8D and 6-Sigma methodologies. Also requires 5 years of experience: analyzing quality and developing quality analysis tools, methods, and processes, including using traditional and modern developing; leading teams through program management elements of identifying and implementing quality improvements; and developing and presenting working level documents and management presentations. Requires 3 years of experience working with Underbody Hardware and Systems including at least two of the following: brakes, transmissions, driveline, suspension, steering, wheels and tires, or electric vehicle power units.
We are offering a salary of $117,853.00 - $204,400.00/yr.

What you’ll be able to do:
Fleet and Customer Usage Technical Specialist - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Livonia, Michigan). Position reports to Livonia, MI office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Improve the reliability of Ford products via interactive data-gathering and learn from the various forms of ‘fleets’, both internal and external, accessible to us. Responsible for Underbody Systems Engineering (UnSE) effort to improve Reliability and Customer Experience through the creation and execution of joint Engineering, Fleet, and Dealer projects focused on data/knowledge-sharing and analysis, tied all the way back to the Design, Manufacturing, and Service of our products. Perform technical data mining, using traditional and new/modern methods, to help reliability engineers understand customer usage profiles in support of reliability improvement efforts.
