Summary Job title: Fleet Administrator Job ID: 202596100002 Department: Fleet Department Location: TX-Irving Description Summary: Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. (CED), a large, nationwide wholesale electrical distribution company, is seeking a Fleet Administrator to join the Fleet Department. The Fleet Department oversees the company's overall fleet operations, including purchasing, selling, maintenance, and vehicle and driver compliance for 700+ locations throughout the United States. In addition, we support affiliated companies as needed regarding fleet issues. Daily functions of the Department include providing recommendations to operations management on various fleet issues, including applicable regulatory and legal compliance, insurance, and licensing. This position will report to CED’s Fleet Manager and is primarily responsible for handling duties related to dash camera / telematics systems that are equipped in our fleet of over 2,800 vehicles. Reports to: Fleet Manager Minimum Qualifications: + Previous experience in a similar system administration role + Proficiency in MS Office + Excellent written and oral communication skills in English + Strong organization skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the following areas: + Dash cameras / telematics systems + Motive / Samsara / Etc. + Working Conditions: + This position operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods. + Routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, filing cabinets Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Responsible for administering the dash camera / telematics system from the service center to support locations in the field. + Ensure compliance with company policies related to dash cameras and telematics devices. + Identify devices that are not installed properly or may have obstructions that need to be addressed. + Assist locations in setting up new drivers, managers and driver coaches. + Ordering replacement or new hardware as needed for new vehicle purchases / acquisitions as needed. + Run / distribute reports for management on overall compliance, vehicle maintenance status, and help managers identify issues that need to be addressed. + Review recorded events to ensure all events are dismissed or recorded accurately. + Review and respond to requests from the field regarding recorded events.
