**We’re Hiring!** **Fixed Assets Analyst – Mexico** **📍**
Join our Finance team and take ownership of capital investment control and fixed assets reporting for both local and international operations.
🔍 **Key Responsibilities** :
+ Manage the **5-year Capital Investment Plan** for local projects.
+ Prepare the **annual Capital Budget** and **depreciation forecast** (local and foreign).
+ Coordinate **Capital Project Approval Forms (ARs)** with project leaders and corporate stakeholders.
+ Approve **Capital Purchase Requisitions** , reviewing budgets, asset classifications, and assigning project numbers.
+ Lead **monthly meetings with managers** to track capital project progress and present **Budget vs. Actual** reports.
+ Maintain daily/weekly control over **Construction in Progress (CIP)** and reconcile with import reports.
+ Follow up on CIP project capitalization with business units in **Mexico and the U.S.**
+ Capitalize completed projects by collecting physical evidence (equipment, services rendered, etc.).
+ Reconcile **Fixed Asset Additions, CIP, and Depreciation** accounts on a monthly basis.
+ Prepare **audit schedules** for Fixed Assets, CIP, and Depreciation.
+ Conduct the **annual Physical Inventory of Fixed Assets** .
+ Support **asset disposals** due to sales or obsolescence.
+ Provide support to **Corporate Finance, Internal & External Audit, Compliance, and Tax Authorities** .
+ Prepare and analyze accounting records and audit files for tax purposes.
+ Create **monthly PPE (Property, Plant & Equipment)** reports.
+ Generate **Non-Local Functional Currency (NLF)** reports for Mexican entities.
+ Promote and analyze **Level 2 Financial Statements** , identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolution with local and corporate teams.
