Brandt Industries Canada Ltd. is currently seeking experienced permanent full-time Fitters for our manufacturing facility in Regina, SK. This position is responsible for the fabrication of custom prototypes from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Knowledgeable in reading and understanding and interpreting blueprints Planning the sequence of tasks to fabricate weldments most efficiently Laying out reference points and patterns on heavy metal according to component specifications Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite Assembling and fitting metal sections and plates to form complete units or subunits using tack welding, bolting, riveting or other methods Installing fabricated components in final products Welding experience considered an asset Other duties as assigned
