Description Fiscal Support (Contract-to-Hire) Location: 100% Onsite – Los Angeles, CA 90056 We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fiscal Support professional to assist with a variety of accounting and financial functions under the direction of the Accounting Manager. This role supports accurate and timely fiscal reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable federal, state, and program regulations. The Fiscal Support position involves preparing financial information for various programs and departments and contributing to the timely completion of monthly and annual closing processes. Key Responsibilities: + Provide support for routine accounting tasks, including journal entry preparation, transaction review and research, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts + Assist with functions related to accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management as needed + Monitor expenditures, revenue, and budgets for contracts/grants, identifying inconsistencies and assisting with budget modifications + Ensure transactions are allowable per funder requirements and accurately recorded; make corrections and adjustments as needed + Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial projections Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis may be considered + Experience supporting accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger + Familiarity with government-funded or nonprofit accounting is a plus + At least one year of experience supporting budget monitoring, especially for contracts or grants + Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles Additional Information: + This is a contract-to-hire position + 100% onsite role based in Los Angeles, CA Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
