Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Fiscal Clerk to join our non-profit team in Youngstown, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting compliance with organizational policies. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful causes while leveraging your accounting expertise. Responsibilities: • Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and maintain transparency. • Process payments to vendors, staff, and other stakeholders promptly and accurately. • Conduct monthly reconciliations, including reviewing bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records. • Assist in designing and implementing effective financial management strategies. • Maintain confidential financial records while adhering to organizational policies. • Collaborate with the finance team to perform audits and ensure compliance with legal and internal guidelines. • Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), billing, and invoice processing tasks. • Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to manage and report financial data. • Perform additional financial and administrative duties as required. Requirements • Previous experience in an accounting or fiscal role, preferably within a non-profit organization. • Proficiency in financial systems such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel. • Strong skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. • Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Familiarity with invoice processing and data entry tasks.
