Firmwide External Reporting Controller - Securitization and Variable Interest Entities - Analyst
The Firmwide External Reporting Controller (FERC) organization ensures the integrity of key external/regulatory reports, including SEC 10K/10Q and Basel Pillar III disclosures, across all business lines. It collaborates with LOB Controllers and External Reporting Teams to ensure data completeness, control mapping, and remediation of gaps. The Securitization and VIE FERC team enhances reporting related to the Firm's securitization activity, offering guidance and serving as a main contact for external reporting queries. As a Firmwide External Reporting Controller - Securitization and Variable Interest Entities Analyst within the Securitization and VIE FERC team, you will apply your up-to-date product, industry, and market knowledge in specialty areas of Securitization reporting. You will consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness, perform quarter-over-quarter variance analytics, and understand market conditions and promoters impacting the Firm's securitization balances and activity. You will coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with various Lines of Business, Regulatory Controllers, and SEC reporting teams, assist in the thorough assessment of issues and outcomes, and clearly communicate financial information to the lines of businesses, flagging potential issues. You will adhere to proof and control procedures to ensure accurate reconciliation between regulatory filings, SEC filings, and other published financial reports, and ensure accurate and complete data submissions to our internal partners in SEC and Reg Reporting.
