Job Description
This exciting role involves leading the firmware development on a high-profile project aimed at developing a new product. You will be at the forefront of innovation, working with a small team and serving as the lead developer for the firmware in this three-phase power project. You will join the project at the starting stages, ensuring the success and timely delivery of this new product.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, document, develop, and test embedded firmware.Develop firmware for UPS/Inverter/Power conversion products.Engage in embedded GUI development.Oversee full lifecycle application development.Conduct software testing and quality assurance.Participate in design reviews and software process development activities.Integrate software with existing systems.Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.Collaborate closely with hardware engineers for end-to-end integration and debugging of products.Essential SkillsProficiency in embedded C and RTOS.At least 5 years of experience developing firmware.Experience in embedded C development, TI microcontrollers, and DSP development.Knowledge of I2C, SPI, and CANBUS.Expertise in power or motor control and inverter control.Proven experience working closely with hardware engineers.Experience as the lead developer on a project.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the UPS industry, preferably having worked for a competitor.Familiarity with TI microcontrollers will be a significant advantage.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
