Firmware Engineer – IoT Communications | Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid)
Join a fast-growing innovator in the IoT space, developing cutting-edge communication technology now being adopted across multiple industries. Seeking multiple experienced Firmware Engineers to join their collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of low-level firmware for a new communication products. You’ll work on both greenfield development and enhancements to an existing codebase.
Responsibilities:Design and develop firmware for embedded systemsCollaborate with engineering teams from prototype through productionConduct R&D for new product featuresPerform verification testing and create technical documentationImplement and maintain communication protocolsSupport manufacturing teams with quality control and board bring-upDebug and resolve firmware issues, integrating fixes into release pipelinesRequired Qualifications:2+ years of experience in firmware developmentProficient in C programming from scratchExperience with microcontrollers (STM32 highly preferred)Familiarity with FreeRTOS or similar real-time operating systemsPreferred Skills:Board bring-up experience (strongly desired)Python or similar scripting languagesLinux development environmentIoT and wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi preferred)Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $68.00/hr.
