Firmware Architect - Sensor and Camera Technologies

Highly skilled Firmware Architect, specialized in sensor and camera technologies for laptop and desktop products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware development, a deep understanding of various sensor and camera systems used in modern computing devices, and extensive knowledge of Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm platforms. This role requires expertise in integrating sensor and camera technologies across different chipset architectures and collaborating with industry-leading vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop firmware architectures for sensor and camera systems in laptops and desktopsLead the integration of new sensor and camera technologies into existing product linesCollaborate with hardware engineers to optimize sensor and camera design and performanceDevelop and maintain firmware specifications and documentationTroubleshoot complex firmware issues and provide innovative solutions

Work Experience

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience in firmware development, with at least 3 years focusing on sensor and camera technologiesProficiency in C/C++ programming languagesStrong understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS)Experience with I2C, SPI, and other common communication protocolsFamiliarity with image processing algorithms and camera tuning techniquesExperience working with Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm sensor and camera designsProven track record of collaborating with industry sensor and camera vendors

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a relevant fieldExperience with machine learning and AI integration for camera and sensor applicationsKnowledge of USB, MIPI, and PCIe interfacesFamiliarity with Windows and Linux driver developmentIn-depth knowledge of sensor integration for various chipset platforms (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm)
