· Log meter readings and make appropriate adjustments to the energy management system as required.
\n· Preparation of work permit for in house team & contractors
\n· Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).

\n· Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
\n· Record and investigate incidents to determine causes.
\n· Assist Assistant Chief Engineer for preparing daily Engineering staff briefing and assist in distributing daily work assignments with follow ups.
\n· Work closely with Assistant Chief Engineer for all internal projects and ensures safe work practices.
\n· Supervise team members to ensure safe work practices, efficient operation, proper preventative maintenance and repair to equipment.
\n· Provide constructive feedback to all team members to ensure safe work practices, efficient operation, proper maintenance and repair to equipment.
\n· Draws up regular reports, performs analysis and completes the tasks, which are entrusted to him/her and communicates with the ACE/ CE as required.
\n· Inspects regularly the operation of equipment under his/her responsibility to identify and then rectify problems in conjunction with outside contractors and line staff, in consultation with the ACE/ CE as and when necessary.
\n· Ensure that all engineering spaces are safe, kept clean and in an orderly manner at all times.
\n· Comply with hotel and corporate SOP’s.
\n· Cross train engineering associates within the department.
\n· Prepare weekly walk through to check all engineering critical areas for necessary action.
\n· Follow up Company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment. Attend all departmental trainings and other training program.
\n· Emergencies – To be available for any emergencies and act in a professional manner to protect our Guests, Staffs and preserve the Hotel Property and its system. Follow Hotel Crises plan.
\n· Be active member of hotel emergency response team. To ensure that each and every job is done to a high standard and that all your work is done with quality in mind.
\n· Develop and maintain positive and productive working relations with other employees and departments. Any job-related complaints or grievances to be handled promptly with your Assistant Chief Engineer or Chief Engineer.
\n· Making monthly walk through with DOE or designate for all engineering related areas and take corrective action accordingly.
\n· Monitor all the life safety plans and make sure that it is in good functioning state.
\n· Monitor all the Fire Fighting plans and make sure that it is in good functioning state.
\n· Monitor all the Fire Alarm plans and make sure that it is in good functioning state.
\n· Supervise the maintenance contactors FF, FA and MCV.
\n· Keep an updated archive of all related documents to Fire safety.
\n· Attend all related meetings.
\n· Supervise the ongoing projects related to the fire safety.
\n· Report daily to the DOE.
\n· Work on continuous improvements related to your filed of expertise.
