Fire Protection Manager
Job Description A Fire Protection Engineer is needed for a full-time, field-based role supporting life safety systems at a university campus in Virginia. The position focuses on inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire suppression systems, along with sprinklers, alarms, and emergency lighting. This person will coordinate with onsite vendors and operate independently when needed. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills, field experience, and direct engagement with stakeholders. Skills and Requirements Extensive fire protection systems experience, especially with fire suppression systems, as well as sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and emergency lighting. Strong field expertise in inspecting, troubleshooting, and diagnosing life safety systems; must collaborate with onsite vendors and operate independently when needed.
