Job Description As a Fire Systems Installation Technician, you will install, inspect, and commission electronic systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, and fire alarm systems, with a focus on Simplex fire alarm systems. You’ll handle programming, integration, and ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, troubleshooting wiring, and delivering cost-effective solutions. Field coordination, AHJ testing, and customer training are key aspects of the role. You’ll work in varied environments, interpreting technical documents and using specialized tools. Strong technical skills, customer service, and flexibility for overtime or travel are essential.
