**Job Description:**
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a **FinOps Support Analyst** that will work across our client organization to deliver cloud-oriented managed services focused on providing best value and best cost to the end user. It is required that the individual has practiced delivery of strong customer service and a foundational knowledge of cloud services; finance and/or supply chain management experience is also desired.
The **FinOps Support Analyst** will have the opportunity to practice the performance of FinOps, while also working with a team to support the delivery of the Cloud Service Provider Subscriber Service (CSP SS) and Cloud Management Tool (CMT) services. CSP SS provides operational support of the resell of cloud services from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google, Oracle, and IBM. The CMT services provides FinOps tool delivery services in support of cloud services optimization. The **FinOps Support Analyst** will be part of a team providing FinOps consulting to GDIT programs.
**The responsibilities of the candidate will include, but are not limited to:**
+ Provide FinOps support to cloud services consumers.
+ Participate in the operation and improvement of service delivery of critical business and technical objectives.
+ Support cloud procurement and billing to include assisting customers with inquiries.
+ Coordinate activities and processes with business partners of the offerings.
+ Produce reports showing cloud expenditures.
+ Maintain customer database records.
+ Create Purchase Requests (PR) and monitor Purchase Order (PO) status.
+ Routinely report on activities within the areas of billing and procurement.
**What you will need to succeed (Required):**
+ Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 1+ years of relevant technical experience
+ Experienced user of common office applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
+ Working knowledge of IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy.
+ Professional with strong oral and written communication skills who works well within a team.
+ Able to lead conversations with distributed teams including technical, finance, executive, business partners, and customers.
+ Must possess analytical skills to solve simple to complex problems.
+ Be a motivated professional who understands the importance of time management.
+ Demonstrated success with providing customer support.
**Nice to have (Preferred):**
+ BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology
+ 3+ years of experience providing customer support.
+ Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) or FinOps certification
+ Foundational understanding of cloud services
+ Demonstrated business acumen, with a basic understanding of financial management and accounting practices.
**Location**
+ Position is remote but candidate must reside within the state of Louisiana
**Travel**
+ Some travel may be required.

The likely salary range for this position is $62,962 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
