Join Our Night Crew as a Finishing Operator - 3rd Shift

Are you a night owl looking for a stable and rewarding opportunity? Avery Dennison is seeking a meticulous and reliable Finishing Operator to join our 3rd shift (10 PM - 6 AM).

As a Finishing Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our finishing center, ensuring that our products are perfectly prepared for our customers. You'll be involved in a variety of essential tasks, from precise packaging to maintaining our operational flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging Excellence: Accurately sort, label, and package slit rolls and finished goods according to specific customer requirements and Avery Dennison's high-quality standards.Quality Assurance: Inspect the general appearance of finished products to ensure they meet our rigorous quality benchmarks.Operational Support: Keep your area stocked with necessary packaging materials and prepare cores for machine operators.Team Collaboration: Effectively communicate and coordinate with fellow shift and department personnel to ensure seamless operations.Efficiency & Improvement: Track multiple orders, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and participate in problem-solving teams.Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, performing 5S duties and audits.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.Proven ability to follow written and oral instructions, with safety as a top priority.Service and quality-focused, able to troubleshoot and communicate effectively.Team player who contributes positively to a collaborative environment.Proficient in essential job tasks, willing to cross-train and share knowledge.Demonstrated flexibility and dependability, including willingness to work overtime (including short notice).Strong computer skills, especially with MFG Pro.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain a Lift Truck Operator's license.

Essential physical requirements for work:
