We operate an annualised hours working agreement, consisting of 3 x 12 hour shifts per week across a 24/6 operation. Shifts are 6am until 6pm, 6pm until 6am.

To support the Finishing department to ensure that high quality cartons are produced within allocated timescales.

 

Key Accountabilities Include:

The main areas covered by this role are as follows:

 

To work across multiple Finishing Cell lines, overseeing all elements of shift performance (safety, quality, output, waste).  Operating multiple machines to ensure targetted efficiency planned targets are achieved. Work on-line as an Operator Assistant, if only one line running, as requested.Line make-readies as required.  Line adjustments, working within parameters of carton and machine specifications.Ensure all quality checks are carried out and recorded appropriately. Line training – Assistants and cross-train fellow Operators.Ensure best use of Assistant labour recoveries and materials in accordance with the production plan.Facilitate and where appropriate conduct training for employees on machine to ensure company and legal standards are met (e.g. quality standards, housekeeping 5S, H&S). Utilising support services as appropriate to ensure technical and quality standards are maintained.
