About this role:
The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Blackline financial reconciliation and automation platform as well as supporting globally based users of the Blackline system to ensure successful accounting close cycles. Additionally, the analyst will support certain statutory filings, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
What you’ll do:
Administer and maintain the Blackline system, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability.Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand business requirements and apply them into system solutions.Configure and customize the Blackline platform to meet organizational needs, including setting up accounts, workflows, and templates.Monitor system usage and performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.Manage and prepare statutory filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission in accordance with regulatory requirements.Provide training and support to end-users, enhancing their understanding and utilization of the Blackline system.Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, processes, and user guides.Stay updated with the latest Blackline features and industry best practices, implementing improvements as necessary.Assist in the integration of Blackline with other financial systems and tools.Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance financial operations and reporting.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2+ years of accounting/financial system related experience.Experience in any role that requires(d) collaborations between Finance/Accounting and financial systems is preferred.Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reconciliation practices.Highly organized with great time management skills; able to effectively prioritize to support the business.Experience with statutory filings and knowledge of regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in system integration and project management is a plus.What we offer:
