Financial Senior Specialist, GHNW Finance, Asia

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support financial accounting, including related reporting such as regulatory and tax submission, management reporting and assistance with ad-hoc projects.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting and Reporting of a UAE subsidiary

Prepare and analyse financial statements and report, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

2. Tax Submission and Compliance of a UAE subsidiary

Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax filings, including income tax and VAT.

Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance with local tax laws.

Liaise with tax authorities/external consultant to resolve any tax-related issues or inquiries.

Prepare and maintain documentation for tax audits and assessments.

3. Treasury Operations of a UAE subsidiary

Supervise treasury operations, including cash flow management and bank reconciliations.

Monitor and manage liquidity to ensure adequate funds for operational needs.

4. GHNW Financial Analysis and Insights

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and improve financial performance.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support for various projects and initiatives.

5. GHNW Ad-hoc Projects and Tasks

Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller, including special projects and initiatives.

Participate in cross-functional teams to address business challenges and drive improvements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Professional Qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of integrity and attention to detail

Enthusiastic about adopting new technologies to improve work efficiency and effectiveness.
