We're seeking someone to join our Derivatives Funding Product Controllers team as a Product Controller in ISG Finance to support the Financial Resources & Strategy desk in their derivative funding & coverage activities, including producing & reconciling daily Profit & Loss, monthly Net Revenue and Balance Sheet substantiation.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Director position within our Product Controllers Job Family which specializes in ensuring adequacy of controls, profit and loss and balance sheet reporting and reconciliations for a segment / business / product area, as well as management reporting across business segments or cross functional end-to-end product oversight

What you'll do in the role:
> Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
> Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area, tools and/or products
> Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls
> Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards
> You will perform oversight and review of daily production of global desk P&L, which is produced by junior members of the team, and sent to regional teams for review.
> You will monitor and analyze market rate movements, funding trends and balance changes in order to explain daily revenue movements.
> You will review movements in net revenue (daily and monthly) as well as balance sheet (monthly and quarterly) and prepare commentary on the drivers.
> You will review and question balance sheet collateral reconciliations, prepared by junior members of the team
> You will lead with continuous improvement of controls around P&L and Balance Sheet reporting.
> You will interact with various groups across the firm including the trading desk, operations, technology, regulatory and legal entity controllers, market/credit risk controllers.

> You have previously been in a position of managing an individual / individuals.
> At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.

Salary range for the position: $60,000-$95,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
