Global Finance Board team is seeking a new colleague in Prague! 

About you new team:

At GBS, we drive innovation in financial planning and reporting at Siemens through our Global Finance Board (GFB)—a state-of-the-art, end-to-end financial solution. 

The GFB serves as a ‘one stop shop’ for all financial needs, integrating diverse data sources to deliver a comprehensive, real-time view of our global financial landscape. Our platform empowers both finance and non-finance teams to make informed decisions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the organization.

As part of our Prague team, you’ll collaborate with technical experts in Germany and Prague to enhance and support our solution, making a real impact on how Siemens manages its financial future. Furthermore you will be directly be on contact with our customer to translate their requirements into technical specifications.  

What is your new role about?

Take responsibility for the continuous operation of Siemens' financial reporting platform (GBS, Siemens Support Functions & Foundational Technologies (formerly ADVANTA)) covering Actual, Forecast & Budget figures for all Profit & Loss Items Ensure accuracy and synchronization of financial data and reporting Identify and implement development opportunities for enhanced customer solutions Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications Manage project progress, bridging evolving business demands and IT solutions Drive diverse reporting analysis tasks with strategic insight Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including customers and regional commercial teams Partner with IT on platform-related initiatives. Lead ad hoc project management and data analysis for strategic decision-making Present results and value to top management and stakeholders

What We’re Looking for in our new colleague?

A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field Fluency in English, with German language skills being an advantage Strong experience with SAP FI/CO and data mining platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) Basic knowledge of SQL or programming languages Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for applying technology solutions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

GBS organization experience is a plus Experience with Snowflake and Siemens data cloud Previous experience as a Financial Controller is advantageous
