Financial Reporting Manager

Summary Job Description

This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting and has the primary responsibility of preparing and ensuring the Company’s consolidated financial statements are in compliance with US GAAP.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

Assisting in preparation and review of SEC filings including 10-Q’s, 10-K’s, 8-K’s, and Section 16 filingsResearching financial reporting and regulatory developments which can impact the company and ensures compliance with all regulationsReviewing monthly financial reporting that is provided to our senior management teamReviewing the work of the Company’s domestic and international subsidiaries to ensure compliance with US GAAPInitiating process improvements in all aspects of reportingMonitoring and assisting with implementation of new accounting standardsPerforming analyses on key metrics to identify trends and analyze variancesAssisting with internal and external auditsAssisting with SOX compliance including providing and coordinating deliverablesPreparing and reviewing ad hoc requests to support senior management’s decision makingPromoting teamwork between finance groups and departmentsServing as liaison with our BUs and our Technology Data, BI & Analytics teams to utilize Google Big Query and related tools for improved analytics and insights.Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fieldActive CPA license preferredMinimum of 6 years of accounting experiencePrior SEC reporting experience or public accounting experience with exposure to SEC filings preferredWorkiva software knowledge is a plusPeopleSoft knowledge is a plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical skills and detail orientedAbility to thrive in an environment of change and openness to new challenges and opportunitiesAbility to work hands-on in a team environment
