Our Kforce client, a global manufacturer located in the Lansing, MI area, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their company. This client offers great salary and benefits. This position is scheduled as 2 days in office. Duties: * The Financial Reporting Manager will prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS * Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management * Provide technical accounting on complex accounting issues * Stay updated on changes in accounting rules and regulations * Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit process * Prepare supporting documentation and provide necessary explanations for audit inquiries * Work with cross-functional teams, finance, accounting, operations to support accounting functions * Assist in the integration of new accounting systems or software * The Financial Reporting Manager will conduct research on emerging accounting standards and assess their impact on the company * Other duties as assigned
