Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a high-growth technology company in Tarrant County that is seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Reporting Manager to join their expanding corporate accounting and finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced organization as it scales operations and builds toward long-term strategic goals. The ideal candidate is a CPA or CPA candidate with a strong foundation in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls. This role offers high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to influence key reporting processes as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare periodic financial reports, including Forms 8-K, 10-Q, and the Annual Report on Form 10-K.
• Collaborate with external auditors, senior management, and legal teams to review and finalize filings.
• Monitor and assess compliance with proposed accounting standards and regulatory changes.
• Conduct research and draft technical memorandums on significant accounting pronouncements and company transactions.
• Assist in managing stock-related reporting, including stock compensation plans and issuance processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide technical expertise on US GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Support ongoing initiatives to enhance the company's financial reporting systems and processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting dealing with publicly traded companies or public / industry combo with SEC reporting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, NetSuite, and Workiva.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in auditing and internal control processes.
