Area:
Purchase to Pay Services Americas (P2P) is part of the Supplier and Reporting (GBR) cluster and includes Procurement and Accounts Payable E2E Services for the entire Americas region. In P2P, we are responsible for acquiring goods and services, up to the payment stage. Our area is responsible for processing plant demands and paying invoices on time to avoid delays in the production process. Everything necessary for a chemical plant to operate is acquired by P2P: chemicals, reagents, gloves, food, etc.
Main Objective of the Position:
The purpose of the role is to run a set of controls designed to mitigate financial and operational risks and partner with the business-oriented teams on continuous improvement, error management, and promote best practices in relation to the portfolio managed by them.
Main Tasks:
Execute daily spot-check controls to ensure invoice postings are 100% accurate.Detect and prevent duplicate and erroneous invoice postings before Accounts Payables payment proposal execution.Perform timely analysis and reconciliation of Vendor Overdue for the items under the scope of Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC).Perform analysis of the 4-Eye Principle, sample checks, and CRM for procurement across multiple teams to monitor changes made to purchase orders by the procurement teams.Provide support to the audit lead on the external year-end audit and internal audits.Elaborate on a tactic to implement the strategy to help the Business Oriented Teams improve the quality of their postings to mitigate financial risks and act as controllers of the clearing of the vendor open items by the business-oriented teams. In so doing the analyst needs to facilitate the communication and correct flow of information with the Business Oriented Teams and within the FRC team, promoting process improvement initiatives with a focus on controls and operational excellence.Collaborate actively in projects of continuous improvement related to the FRC processes.
Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:
Education | Advanced student or university degree in business administration, accounting, or a finance-related field. Work Experience | 3-5 years of experience in finance or audit and compliance functionsLanguages | Advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written (will be evaluated). Knowledge of Portuguese will be highly valued. Technical Skills | Knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP HANA is highly desirable. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory. Familiarity with Power BI and Lean Six Sigma methodology will also be valued. Soft Skills | A mindset focused on continuous improvement, strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, critical thinking, effective communication, negotiation skills, and a customer-focused approach are essential for the position.
