Area:
Purchase to Pay Services Americas (P2P) is part of the Supplier and Reporting (GBR) cluster and includes Procurement and Accounts Payable E2E Services for the entire Americas region. In P2P, we are responsible for acquiring goods and services, up to the payment stage. Our area is responsible for processing plant demands and paying invoices on time to avoid delays in the production process. Everything necessary for a chemical plant to operate is acquired by P2P: chemicals, reagents, gloves, food, etc.
Main Objective of the Position:
The purpose of the role is to execute a set of controls designed to mitigate financial and operational risks, and to collaborate with operational teams in continuous improvement, error management, and promoting best practices related to the portfolio they manage.
Main Tasks:
Execute daily verification controls to ensure that invoice accounting is 100% accurate.Detect and prevent duplicate accounting and errors in invoice recording before executing the Accounts Payable payment proposal.Conduct timely analysis and reconciliation of overdue supplier payments for documents under the responsibility of the Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC) team.Provide support to the audit leader during the year-end external audit and in internal audits.Develop a strategy to implement initiatives that assist operational teams in improving the quality of their accounting to mitigate financial risks and act as a controller for the settlement of outstanding supplier balances by business-oriented teams. To achieve this, the analyst must facilitate communication and proper information flow with operational teams and within the FRC team, promoting process improvement initiatives with a focus on controls and operational excellence.Actively collaborate on continuous improvement projects related to FRC processes.Execute credit recovery from our suppliers for the assigned portfolio.
Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:
Education | Graduate or Advanced students of Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or finance related.Work Experience | 2 to 3 years of experience in finance roles, with experience in project-related tasks being a plus.Languages | Intermediate level of English.Technical Skills | Advanced proficiency in MS Office is essential. Knowledge of SAP, familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology and Power BI is valued.Soft Skills | Continuous improvement mindset, analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, and customer focus.
