Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.

Reporting Structure
The Financial Reporting Analyst reports directly to the Director, Financial Reporting.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
External Reporting:
Assist in in the preparation and filing of reports with the SEC, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K (earnings press releases), proxy statements, and other filing documents.Prepare various financial statements, footnotes and MD&A in the periodic filings and 401(k) plan financial statements.Coordinate internal information requests and prepare supporting documentation and analyses to support the financial statements, footnotes and MD&A disclosures, including disclosure checklists and tie-out binders.Prepare Xtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging of financial statements and footnotes.Work cross functionally with Accounting, Legal, FP&A, Operations, IT, HR, etc.Work with external auditors in conjunction with the annual year-end audit and quarterly reviews.Prepare monthly bank financial statements.Assist in the preparation of EPS calculations.Assist in the preparation of grant-date fair value calculations, quarterly stock-based compensation expense and option exercise schedules.
Lease Accounting/Administration:
Maintain information in the lease accounting software by reviewing new contracts/amendments and assessing the impact of ASC 842 – Leases.Participate in the monthly Accounting close by preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and rollforwards in the areas of lease accounting.Coordinate with Legal, Real Estate team and Accounts Payable team regarding new leases, amendments, terminations and processing and approving related payments on a timely basis.Assist the Director of Financial Reporting in technical accounting research
Accounting Duties and Ad Hoc Projects:
Assist in the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.Remain current on new and upcoming accounting guidance issued by the FASB and SEC.Assist the Accounting Department in their monthly close process related to various corporate accounting entries related to debt, stock compensation and legal.Prepare documentation and facilitate testing of internal controls surrounding the financial reporting and equity processes to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.Continuously assess financial reporting and equity processes for process improvements.Prepare reports/analyses and participate in other projects as needed.

Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:
BS/BA in Accounting requiredCPA or progress towards CPA preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting rulesAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially ExcelStrong analytical and organizational skillsSelf-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communication skills2-4 years of public/private accounting experience (2 years minimum in public accounting preferred)Experience with Donnelley Financial Solutions Active Disclosure a plusExperience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plusRetail and/or consumer goods industry experience a plus
