ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-
Prepares the company's consolidated financial statements and footnotes, including ensuring compliance with US GAAP and any other applicable regulations.Assists with preparation and review of other materials that include financial statement data.Ensures creation of auditable support with clear documentation.Participates in the month-end close process, which includes preparation of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations.Perform accounting research and analysis on technical accounting topics, including preparation of accounting memosMonitors and researches FASB and SEC activities to identify potential rule changes that may impact the company.Documents and updates the company’s key accounting policies.Identifies and implements opportunities to promote streamlined processes, financial systems, operational efficiencies, and enhanced internal controls.Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support the audit processPerform other duties as requiredEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE-
BA/BS degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA license preferred3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience working with publicly-traded companiesPublic accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAPIndustry experience in retail and/or consumer products, and international experience a plusProficiency in Microsoft ExcelHighly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environmentAbility to effectively communicate clear and concise ideas orally and in writingCreative thinker who can bring innovative ideas and approaches to solve issues$95K-$135K/ANNUALLY
