Financial Project Analyst
We are seeking a Financial Project Analyst to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Financial Project Analyst at Marsh, you will be partnering with technology programs within CIS in support of producing and reporting monthly accurate project performance results, monthly forecasting, annual budget preparation, and analyzing / identifying key variance drivers.
We will count on you to:
Create and manage annual budgets for technology projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.Monitor project results to ensure alignment with budget/forecast.Develop and maintain forecasting models to project future financial performance based on feedback from technology programs.Work closely with technology project managers to gather feedback on project budgets, timelines, and resource needs, ensuring accurate financial planning.Assist Project Managers in the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring understanding and alignment.Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed and assist teams with research on project accounting questions.What you need to have:
5+ years of relevant experience with financial budgeting/forecasting experience (IT environment a plus)Good knowledge of finance, accounting, control principles, and project management experience.Experience with Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) systems and data analytics.Skilled with Excel using formulas and pivot tables and creating stakeholder presentations in PowerPoint.Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills.Self-sufficient, organized, good problem solver, results oriented.Advanced Level of English is a MustWhy join our team:
