Description Our client, in the education industry, is in need for a Financial Processing Clerk, in the central/east-side of Tucson! In this long-term contract position, guaranteed through end of year, with high probability to extend, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records through meticulous analysis and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have a knack for numbers, high attention to detail, and enjoy interfacing with people on phones or emails. Responsibilities: + Serve as a liaison for the campus financial services offices to ensure compliance + Review and process verification for "selected" students, professional judgments, and c-codes. + Ensure all financial processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies while identifying and mitigating potential risks. + Support campus financial services with packaging, repacks, exception review, clearance, etc. + Support campus financial services with processing stipends, credit balances, and collections. + Provide training support to financial staff on new processes and technologies to ensure smooth implementation and adoption. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining financial processes, including leveraging technology, to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory environments. + Meet assigned productivity and quality goals as defined by the supervisor. + Additional job-related duties as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry, and having high attention to detail, organized Previous banking or financial aid experience is helpful • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in organizing and verifying financial documentation. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation. • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
