Job Description

The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst 4 is responsible for developing business unit budgets and tracking the company's financial performance against expectations.  This position is responsible for analyzing business performance to create forecasts that help stakeholders make strategic decisions.

 

What you will be doing Accountable for all reporting, planning, and forecasting processesDevelop, maintain, and improve financial and operational reporting to measure and track results against expectationsAnalyze key performance indicator (KPI) trends, especially relating to financial metrics such as expenditures and profit margin; translate financial metrics into actionable insights and predictive modeling techniques that improve decision-making, performance, and business growthSupport new business initiatives, understand and analyze new business ideas, make analytical judgments, and provide data-intensive analyses to drive meaningful changeIdentify relevant metrics that are useful to stakeholders in making business decisionsIdentify opportunities to improve data integrity to enable analysis and insights. Integrate disparate sources of data using and direct the execution of various strategic and business analyses, driving cross-functional initiatives involving employees from across the organization.Deliver monthly and quarterly analysis of financial results, including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlightedProvide ad-hoc most complex analysis of or assistance with any other financial related projects as deemed appropriate by managementOperate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledgeOperate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trendsMentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team What will make you successful Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 6 years experience in financial analysis/planning or related fieldProficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with executive presenceExcellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of departmentSpeak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audienceExcellent ability to prioritize while paying great attention to detail is criticalExcellent ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutionsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independentlyAble to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentDemonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partnersExcellent ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologiesExcellent knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysisSharp, fast learner with a technology curiosity and aptitudeAttentive to detail, as demonstrated by regularly verifying all work thoroughly to ensure accuracyUp to 5% travel time required Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
