Job DescriptionFP&A Intern as a part of the FP&A team supports the CG Finance Team and other functions in assisting with budgeting, closing, and forecast preparations. Ensuring the proper execution of the control framework within O-I, and supporting various business case calculations.
SCOPE AND IMPACT
FP&A Intern supports the CG FP&A Team with budgeting, closing, and forecasting, handling confidential financial data. This role involves regular interaction with the Country Group Finance Team and COE Controlling Team. The impact is more supportive, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with control frameworks.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate US GAAP financial reportingSupport audit of US GAAP financials and statutory accounts by providing requested documentation &/or analysisAssist in the preparation of reports/analysis for respective countries to allow for timely and insightful analysis of financial resultsAssist with data gathering, consolidation, and reporting for various forecast areas in conjunction with Country FP&A TeamsWork with the FP&A and Country Group members to develop and maintain best practices for managing informationEnsure that information is timely, accurate, relevant, and reliableActive participation in FP&A projectsQualificationsStudent status of 3rd or 4th year of Finance or AccountingInterested in controlling/accountingProficient in English min.
