About the role What you need to know: The primary purpose of the job is to: + Lead the preparation of three-year planning, ground-up budgeting, forecasting, and analysis related to management accounting P/L and expenses + Lead the business partnering function of Finance, developing and maintaining tools, training, and other support structures to enable stakeholders to manage, budget, forecast, and analyze their P/L and expenses + Constantly evolve the aforementioned processes, tools, and support structure with the goal of adding more value to the business through optimal processes + Perform ad-hoc analysis to guide business in making key strategic decisions + Manage the maintenance and enhancement of budget and FP&A software application. + Plan, manage, and evaluate work of staff; make decisions regarding pay, performance management, development, employment and staffing. + Serve as a member of the Finance Leadership team, responsible for guiding the team toward common goals and embedding a culture in line with AIG’s Purpose and Values What we’re looking for: + A university bachelor’s degree or higher + More than 5 years of relevant experience in Finance, preferably in an insurance company. + Experience managing and mentoring staff + Business level Thai and English preferred (written/spoken). + Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and overseas teams. + Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines + Well-planned, organized with keen attention to detail. + Basic computer skills with prior experience working with BI and consolidation tools, and MS Office i.e. Excel, Word and Powerpoint At AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
