*This is a hybrid position which requires going to the St. Louis, MO office 3 days/week and working remotely 2 days/week. Must be local to the St. Louis, MO office.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position works to assist members with recoupment resolution and delivers specific delegated Accounting/Financial Operation Reporting tasks assigned by a supervisor in direct support of the Department of Defense Tricare contract. The individual in this role must be able to meet all productivity standards set by the contract including obtaining access to Government systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs a broad range of tasks which include, but is not limited to:
Answering member phone calls
Researching accounts in government systems and applications
Collecting and processing member payments
Creating document packets summarizing collection efforts for Tricare beneficiaries with outstanding debt
Transferring qualifying recoupment cases to Defense Health Agency (DHA)
Reconciling and auditing functions that are account and process specific
Delivering straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services in Accounting/Financial Reporting/Financial Operations
Analyzing and verifying internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of account documents; making adjustments when appropriate
Ensuring compliance with the Tricare contract and performs to contract KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS

HS diploma or GED required
2+ years' relevant experience
PC skills, Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel and Access skills
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Proficiency in accounting processes, procedures, and controls
Strong attention to detail
Experience working with cross functional departments to research and resolve issues
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage varying workloads
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate departmental and project deadlines
