Based in our BSO offices this is an opportunity to maintain accounting financial data and support colleagues across the business.** **Core Responsibilities** + Govern and maintain accounting and financial master data in SAP and Blackline. + Perform admin tasks in Blackline and support end users with more complex change requests. + Test and implement new processes and system functionalities. + Consistently adheres to company guidelines and policies. + Support improvement, standardization, automation, and maintenance of the end-to-end processes related to financial master data. + Building and strengthening basic stakeholder relations across areas and geographies including collaboration and culture including Financial Business Controllers, Treasury, CRBC, Tax, Group Reporting and General Ledger colleagues. + Participate on ERP transformation to SAP S/4HANA. **Play your part in our team succeeding.** The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a Sharedservice centre that delivers HR and Finance services to theentire LEGO Group from 3 locations; Monterrey, Prague andSingapore. The General Ledger (GL) department interacts with great partsof the LEGO organisation and therefore holds an important rolewithin the Business Service Operations (BSO) supporting the EMEA region.The team is responsible for compliant handling of the generalledger and all engagements related hereto, which involvesnatural interaction with a broad range of both internal andexternal stakeholders. The departmental focus is on: + Make sure we live our partner promise by ensuring highquality, stewardship and full compliance with the LEGOGroups current Accounting Policy and global processes. + Ensure timely, accurate and reliable transactional datarecorded in general ledger and timely reconciliation of allaccounts. + Support internal and external collaborators with insightful and value-adding financial analyses, recurring statements and reporting bringing value to the overall business. The General Ledger department supports The LEGO Group with consistent,high quality and customer oriented execution of GL processesand stakeholder management, and thereby enables the BSO tosucceed in delivering phenomenal value to the LEGO organization. The Specialist plays a meaningful role in developing the best of class GL department within the BSO. We need development-orientedindividuals, eager to engage actively in shaping andstrengthening a high-performing department, valuingcollaboration, process excellence, quality and fun ineveryday life. **Do you have what it takes ?** + Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or other similar education. + Experience with the FI & CO modules in SAP and / or Blackline tool + 3+ years of proven working experience with financial,preferably accounting processes. + Microsoft Office at advanced level. + Analytical, detail and high-quality oriented. + Be robust, resilient and ability to embrace changes, as well ashaving a proactive mind with a can-do attitude. + Proven self-motivation and initiative, excellent collaboration abilities, and a history of developing trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other customers. + Strong written and spoken English + Ability to provide sparring and governance on master data relatedmatters \#LI - EL1 Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
