Minimum requirements:
Literate in English and Afrikaans.
8 years or more of experience in manufacturing or engineering industry.
Degree in accounting
SAGE experience
The books are audited externally but the candidate will be expected to manage the day to day financial considerations for all entities within the group which includes multiple juristic persons, trading and non-trading. It will include the management of the debtors and creditors clerk only, and working with the current HR manager in regards to payroll. Payroll will need to be undertaken by the candidate for all employees within the group – 150 plus persons. The candidate will be expected to load payments on local and foreign bank accounts in terms of the PO’s signed off by the CEO. They will be expected to prepare management accounts etc for the local and foreign entities, but the audited accounts for all entities are prepared externally with the assistance of the candidate.
