We are currently seeking a Financial Manager for our Transportation Division located in Crown Point, IN. The Financial Manager is the direct line of communication between the accounting department and the Vice President.

Coordination of P&Ls for BGLRegular reviews of issues, overhead, P&Ls and Report Card with BGLReport major issues to respective Regional ControllerPrepare narrative to accompany P&L/Report Card packetPrepare BGL’s business planManage Human Capital training & development for department and jobsite staffMentor department staff and encourage growth in field within companyManage Accounting involvement in claims (correspondent between Legal and Accounting)Visit material jobs in their program frequently to ensure compliance and correct any issues that ariseRepresent the Company in Owner meetings and relations on major projectsDesign analytical reports for group and submit for possible standardization across companyQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent5-7 years of civil construction experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)Proficiency in CMiC preferredDemonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibility and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including executive levelAbility to think strategically while identifying problems and developing creative solutions50% travel requiredSalary Range Disclaimer
