You will provide interpretation of accounting reports, statements, and other accounting data reflecting the interrelationships between accounting, budgeting and other management data. You will use judgement to adapt guidelines to specific problems and may need to interpret a large number of varied policies and regulations. You will provide information about and interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers. You will assist in the performance of functions such as formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will perform analytical and program work pertaining to payroll, cash control, travel or benefit systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of GS-07 experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing accounting or financial management functions in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the oversight and control of financial resources to include payroll or travel processing. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of GS-05 experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with accounting or financial management functions in connection with accounting systems; assisting with analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the oversight and control of financial resources to include payroll or travel processing. This position is part of the Navy Nuclear Deterrent Mission. Several vacancies may be filled. Salary information for the GS-07 position is $56,153 - $73,003 Salary information for the GS-09 position is $68,686 - $89,290 Certain incentives (such as Recruitment and Relocation) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
