As part of the FGL (Financial General Ledger) team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and business relevance of core revenue processes falling under the scope of the Payment Services and Electronic Money Directives in EU and Regulations in UK, ensuring proper revenue, expense and accrual recognition and compliance with safeguarding rules. Our team is responsible for the SumUp markets in Western Europe (i.e. Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, etc.), UK, Switzerland, USA and Australia. We are working in close collaboration with Controlling and FP&A teams, Payment Operations, relevant teams responsible for the actual delivery of the processes, such as the Payouts, E-money and Cash Advances teams as well as our inhouse ERP (S4 Hana) team. The team has a critical role in ensuring a robust end-to-end accounting process with regards to all core revenue products (transactions processing, electronic money, cash advances) across SumUp including the connections among multiple systems.
