Financial Crimes Senior Manager (Executive Director)

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Crimes Senior Manager (Executive Director) who will be responsible for product / change management, operational performance management, capacity modeling and other cross-organizational support in Financial Crimes Risk Management group.


In this role, you will:

Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective financial crimes program for the companyEngage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peersEnsure execution and ongoing management of a risk based financial crimes program across the enterprise or large to mid-size businesses with significant riskManage the development and implementation of procedures, controls, analytics and trend evaluation to ensure proactive identification, prevention execution, detection, investigation, recovery and government reporting of financial crime activityIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control developmentLead initiatives that cross multiple lines of business in scope with significant risk impactProvide thoughtful independent credible challenge internally, to supported lines of business, across other Corporate Risk programs, and companywideDetermine appropriate strategy and actions of functional area team to meet moderate to high risk deliverablesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityMaintain an awareness of financial crimes activity across the enterprise and provide subject matter knowledge to business projects and initiativesCollaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including more experienced managersInteract directly with external customersManage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectivesDevelop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of management or leadership experience

Strong experience establishing operations management and capacity modeling framework and improving process efficienciesProven ability in understanding change landscape & roadmaps to assess operational impactsStrong experience leading product management and testing functionsProven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple prioritiesAbility to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
