We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

Embedded within PayPal's core business areas, the role oversees daily risk management, conducts First Line of Defense (FLOD) testing, monitors Second Line of Defense (SLOD) compliance testing, and collaborates with business partners across all defense lines for Financial Crime in the UK.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

Identify issues and recommend best practices for the administration of legal entities and subsidiaries.Lead functional projects and programs that contribute to business or process improvements.Analyze business trends to inform decision-making and enhance operational effectiveness.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Oversee the maintenance of accurate corporate records and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Key responsibilities

Drive execution of issue, incident, complaint, and RCP remediationConduct Root Cause Analysis for potential issues and/or closed incidents across GFCCP ProgramsLiaise with appropriate functional team(s) to define and document recommended remediation plans and follow up with issue owners on timely resolution/implementation.Partner with other BRCLs and business owners to assign and agree ownership of issues originating from outside of GFCCP, ensuring adequate resources are in place to manage GFCCP impactsEstablish strong partnerships with line of business and technology representatives that will enable the team to meet business objectivesMaintain strong understanding of key risk management principles and PayPal products and services within area of responsibilityEngage with Second Line of Defense Teams as part of Issue Management & Remediation PlanningUnderstand impact of BRCL role in the Control Environment and PayPals Risk TaxonomySupport other BRCL tasks & activities associated with Management & Mitigation of Risk for GFCCP

Job Requirements

Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skillsEngage with internal and external stakeholders to devise and execute on remediation plans, leveraging your experience and general knowledge of GFCCP ProgramsAbility to deep-dive problem statements to identify root cause and partner with the business to understand their needs when determining best solutionsExtensive knowledge of multiple GFCCP programs, including Seller Risk, a plusConfident engaging with all levels of leadership & asking challenging questionsStrong analytical skills, must be comfortable working with and interpreting GFCCP related data as part of decision-making
