For our financial department we are looking for a Financial Controller (m/f/x) located in Spain or Poland

Job Description

Provide support for the financial information and associated systems through the Eurofins Agroscience Services Group with the aim of contributing directly to the achievement of the business’s agreed strategic and financial objectives. Main focus will be for the division Field&Seeds. Ensuring the correctness of the financial accounting figures in alignment with the Division Leader, National Service Centers and Business Unit Managers.

Key working areas:

Controlling:

Measuring business performance, decision support for Sub-RBL Leader and provide recommendation for actionsSupport local field finance controllersSupport Forecast & Financial Budget processSupport NWC & dunning management

Cost monitoring:

Supervise monthly allocation of costs to team/business unit budgets, utilising agreed systems and methods. Prepare periodic summaries and status reports for management discussion.

Financial accounting:

Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements and accompany month/year-end closing processesEnsure and contribute to the correctness of whole financial data of Sub-RBL  legal entity scope in line with local finance controllers or external service providersAssess monthly/quarterly accounting statements (balance sheets and income statements)Monitor/report and clean up accounting discrepancies in alignment with National Service CenterMonitor that business and business managers follows all required legislationsLiaise with internal & external auditors

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldWork experience as a Financial Accountant/Financial Controller or similar roleProven experience of business bookkeeping procedures referring to IFRS standards.Knowledge of accounting and tax regulationsWork experience of Controlling relevant tools like budgeting/forecasting and similarLanguages: English mandatory plus Spanish or Polish depending on the work locationValues: Team player, pro-active, impact and influence, integrity, independently
