Job Description

Company Profile:

Eurofins Food Assurance provides food safety solutions including globally recognized, accredited auditing and certification; training; and consulting services - that are focused on process optimization, risk reduction, and brand reinforcement.  Services provide customized, strategic solutions designed specifically to solve industry challenges and promote informed, unbiased business decisions. Key Position Responsibilities:

Manage the development of results of financial results and financial position for multiple business units in collaboration with the National Service Center finance function on a monthly basisDevelop and present analyses of financial results and business activities including client program results.Support development of annual budget and operating plan.Maintain database of key operating, financial and client metrics.Support transaction processing for business operations including management of staff responsible for transaction processing

Essential Duties:

Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all aspects of work and adhere to all procedures established by Eurofins and its clients.Develops, maintains and enhances processes to support efficient, effective management of all business unit financial activitiesActively manages and develops assigned resources responsible for key transaction processingApplies good practices in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.Regular attendance and punctuality.Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Requirements:

Accounting and Financial Management – A solid working understanding of core accounting principles and financial measurement and management.Analysis and Technology Tools – Advanced knowledge on analysis methods and applicable technology tools including Excel and basic data base applications to support business operations through financial and KPI measurement and management.Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

Accounting/finance experience; business management knowledge; KPI measurement and management experience

College Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant study. 

CPA certification is a huge plus. 

Strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customer and staff.Detail oriented with documentation.Strategic planning.Self-motivated.Strong time management skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Effective management and development of assigned resources.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent technical writing ability.Works well under pressure and handles adverse situations.Problem solving ability.
