Financial Controller
Location: Morayshire (AB56), UK
Salary: From £47,000 per annum, depending on experience
Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our client's team in Morayshire. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management across the organisation. Travel between local offices will be required, so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including intercompany transactions.Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.Present financial reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team.Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions.Monitor cash flow and optimise working capital.Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.What We're Looking For:
A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).Proven experience in a similar role, ideally as a Financial Controller.Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.Excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset.High proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.Confident communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills.A detail-oriented approach with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.Ready to take the next step in your finance career?
