Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by managing the financial close process and consolidated reporting for the ASICS EMEA region. You will oversee critical financial controls, prepare statutory statements and support external audits whilst maintaining and improving our consolidation tools. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting and strengthen internal control systems across the European operations.

 

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.  

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Manage and coordinate the periodic financial closing activities across the ASICS EMEA region to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and validate accounting journal entries and reconciliations on financial accounts.
• Oversee the monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting processes to meet corporate requirements.
• Support the creation and finalisation of annual statutory financial statements in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate group performance metrics whilst ensuring adherence to internal control standards under J-SOX framework.
• Facilitate and coordinate external audit processes to ensure smooth completion of audit requirements.
• Maintain, optimise and enhance ASICS consolidation tools to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

 

You have the following skills:

• 4-5 years' experience in multinational financial control.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong accounting background with ACA or ACCA certification.
• Exceptional analytical and numerical skills.
• Fluent English communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• User experience of financial software packages (SAP knowledge is a plus).
