As part of a global team, the IT Business Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, defining, and documenting business processes and requirements for solutions within Oracle Financials. Acting as a key liaison between business collaborators and IT technical teams, the individual facilitates clear communication, ensures alignment of system functionality with both stated and emerging business needs, and drives the successful design and implementation of Oracle Financials solutions.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
Develop deep expertise in Oracle Financials modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) to assess business needs and recommend effective, scalable solutions. Conduct requirement gathering using interviews, workshops, CRPs (Conference Room Pilots), and process walkthroughs to gather functional and business needs. Evaluate and challenge existing business processes, advising collaborators on Oracle standard methodologies and proposing optimized alternatives using standard Oracle functionality. Collaborate optimally with technical teams to understand solution feasibility, system constraints, and integration points. Translate high-level business concepts into detailed functional specifications, configuration, and solution design documents. Partner with multi-functional teams to prioritize improvements and configurations based on business value, risk, and compliance requirements. Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to align priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure consensus on solution scope and objectives. Manage the full lifecycle of functional requirements—from analysis and documentation through testing and implementation—ensuring alignment with project goals. Prepare and maintain functional artifacts such as BR100s, process flow diagrams, and fit-gap analysis documentation. Lead or support the configuration, testing (UAT, SIT), and deployment of Oracle Financials solutions, ensuring they meet business and compliance standards. Ensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements by defining and validating test cases, facilitating defect resolution, and ensuring user acceptance. Analyze and document as-is and to-be business processes, identifying inefficiencies and Oracle-driven opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with partners to identify, assess, and prioritize process improvement initiatives that align with capabilities and business objectives.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
