Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Financial Budget Analyst. This role is based in Davenport, IA.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you’ll do:Position Overview:
This position assists program management in the tracking and presenting of development project financials on a recurring basis. Position also assists the Site Controller and has responsibility for the management, dissemination, and data integrity of specific aspects of key financial information. Key responsibilities are preparing standard and ad hoc reports for Site Leadership that provide an analysis and understanding of various aspects of business results. This position works with the site personnel to gather insights on results and summarizing for both site and Mission System Division leadership.
What you’ll do:
Weekly/Monthly reporting of key program and business stream metrics (orders, sales, margin, spend)Analyze and determine the cause of fluctuations between periods and provide other relevant financial analysis of the business. Work cross functionally to solve business issues identified.Provide financial analysis and assistance to the site leadership through an in-depth understanding of company accounting policies, practices, and business operations.Support annual profit plans and monthly close activities.Ownership of key balance sheet elementsEnsure accuracy of data communicated to internal and external parties.Active contributor to improved financial performance with challenge of making assumptions and suggestions for effective improvement.Possess a firm understanding of the cost accounting, general accounting, and financial planning and forecasting systems that Eaton uses.Promote financial awareness through formal training and regular communications with non-finance managers and team members.Demonstrate a commitment to achieving continuous improvement and total quality in the performance of all assigned duties.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Required (Basic) QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of 3 years of accounting or finance or supply chain is requiredNo relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA to be considered. Preferred qualifications:
Experience in finance in a manufacturing environment.Superior analytical and thinking skills; intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability.
