Financial and Data Reporting Lead (Remote)

ICF is seeking a Financial and Data Reporting Lead to help the State of Florida manage grants to carry out strategic and high-impact activities to mitigate disaster risks and reduce future losses in its communities. This position is 100% Remote in the United States.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial and Data Reporting Lead to manage the financial and data analysts supporting grant-funded programs. This role will oversee financial operations, data reporting, and compliance functions to ensure accurate, timely, and transparent reporting. 

Key Responsibilities:  

Lead the financial and data analysts responsible for: 

Reviewing reimbursement documentation for compliance with state requirements. Maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring proper asset tracking. Supporting internal financial operations, including billing and audit readiness. Developing and maintaining systems for tracking expenditures and budget balances. Developing and maintaining systems for intaking, processing, and tracking program applications.  Maintain spreadsheets and databases for internal tracking and reporting. Prepare internal and client-facing presentations. Generating performance reports.

Oversee the development and refinement of financial procedures and internal controls. 

Coordinate with program managers, IT, and external stakeholders to ensure data integrity and reporting alignment. 

Create internal financial operations, including accounting practices, billing and collections, financial planning and analysis, internal audit, back-office systems, etc.  

Serve as the primary point of contact for financial reporting to the System of Record Manager and to clients. 

Maintain systems and controls necessary to provide accurate accounts of expenditures and budget balances for agency programs.  

Developing or updating procedures for the proper administration of grant funds.  

Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, accounting, finance, business administration or a related discipline.  5+ years of experience in financial management and/or database management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.  Strong skills in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 3+ year experience working with large datasets or database systems.  3+ years' experience with Microsoft Excel (including the use of pivot tables and advanced formulas)  

Preferred Skills/Experience:   

3+ years experience with grant compliance. Familiarity with data management systems and tools such as Salesforce, QuickBase, or Appian. Experience working in disaster recovery, housing, or infrastructure programs; experience with state or HUD-funded grant programs is a plus.  Financial management, report development, and the use of data visualization tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, etc.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$81,094.00 - $137,860.00
