If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and being part of a forward-thinking organization, this is the company for you! **What You'll Do:** + Formulate and research strategies and tactics to enhance customer and shareholder value. + Perform intermediate project analysis related to the strategic initiatives of AEP and its business units. + Assist in the preparation of executive briefings and board presentations. + Perform intermediate financial benchmarking on peer groups and asset classes. + Possess understanding of intermediate business unit financial valuation models and be able to modify existing models. + Perform intermediate analysis of company and asset valuation, including evaluation of potential acquisitions and divestitures, as directed. + Work independently and in a team on intermediate financial modeling and due diligence assignments with a moderate level of supervision or guidance. + Provide intermediate financial and transaction support on strategic business development and transaction efforts. + Conduct basic to intermediate corporate, financial and regulatory research as requested. + Communicate clearly to clients and fellow team members. + Demonstrate flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements due to changing deadlines, changing priorities and evolving deadlines. **Note:** _This position is posted in a range. The final grade and compensation offered will be based on the successful candidate's education, experience, and relevant skills._ **What We're Looking For:** **Financial Analyst Prin (Grade 08) $96,110 - $124,940** **Education requirements are listed below:** Bachelor's Degree, preferred majors include accounting, finance, economics, business administration or engineering. **Financial Analyst Staff (Grade 9) $112,886 - $146,730)** **Education requirements are listed below:** Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering required. **Work Experience requirement listed below:** Eight (8) or more years of work experience in the disciplines mentioned in the education requirement.
