Job Description:

Internship Opportunity

Join the Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis team at the Global Centre to deliver crucial analysis and decision support to World Vision Global Centre leaders and department managers. Our finance team at the Global Centre plays a pivotal role in enabling and guiding business units through budgeting, forecasting, chargebacks, and comprehensive analyses.

What You'll Do:

Generate Insightful Reports: Assist in creating and analyzing ad-hoc reports.

Support Budgeting and Forecasting: Provide analytical support for budget and forecast processes (e.g., Excel variance files, Q3 Forecast report).

Ensure Financial Accuracy: Review and verify ledger details and intercompany billing forms.

Collaborate for Analysis: Work closely with finance business partners and financial analysts to provide robust analysis and support.

Projects:

Forecasting Global Cash Flow: Aid in the creation of the Global Centre Cash Flow forecast.

Enhance Reporting Tools: Assist supervisor in creating various reports (e.g., Business Case Tracker).

Optimize Budgeting Tools: Support supervisor in improving/updating budget templates and tools.

What You Need to Know: 

Details 

Location: This is an office-based internship with location at the GC Manila Office in Mandaluyong City. Option for remote work on some days may be considered and is subject to assessment and approval.

Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.  

Stipend: While this internship is unpaid, interns receive a financial allowance of PHP 56.25 per hour or PHP 450 for a full eight-hour workday. This allowance is provided only for actual internship hours worked. No allowance will be granted for absences, including vacation or sick leave, as well as during holidays.

Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (20-40 hours/week)

Equipment: World Vision-issued laptop will be provided for the duration of the internship.

Eligibility

All candidates must meet the following requirements:

At least 18 years of age.

Currently residing in the Philippines 

Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the entire internship period  

Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years).

Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.

A Memorandum of Agreement between World Vision and your school is signed and approved.
